Torraccia di Presura is a winery located in the area of Chianti Classico, the heart of Tuscany, specifically in the municipality of Greve in Chianti, just a few miles away from Florence.

From the very beginning, the winery has stood out for its continuous pursuit of quality, from the work in the vineyard through careful selection of the grape varieties and meticulous cultivation techniques, all the way to the production phases in the wine cellar, using the best vinification technologies.

Among the guiding values of Torraccia di Presura’s activities, there has always been a focus on biodiversity and the preservation of the magnificent surrounding territory.

Torraccia di Presura has a production capacity of approximately 150,000 bottles per year. Most of the wine is Chianti Classico but there are also barricaded IGT wines that the company has been producing since the end of the last century, a white wine, a Brut quality sparkling wine and a vin santo.

From the 2022 harvest, monovarietal wines were also produced both with native Tuscan grapes (Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo and Foglia Tonda) and with international vines (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon).

It is possible to taste all the Torraccia wines inside the company farmhouse located in the historic complex of Villa Ulivello about 500 m from the cellar.

Over the years of activity, the awards that Torraccia di Presura has obtained at international wine competitions have been numerous and growing in quantity.

Despite the differences in harvesting between the various vintages, the company’s wines have achieved an indisputable consistency of results, certifying the great attention that the property pays to the creation of quality products.

Torraccia di Presura started its agritourism business in 2019, realizing a project started in 2013 with the purchase of a historic villa (Villa Ulavoro) bordering the property.

The villa has been carefully renovated, safeguarding its structure and finishing materials, and adapted to be able to best carry out both the hospitality service and the tasting of the company’s products, combined with a catering activity focused on ingredients produced in the Tuscan territory.

The location of the farmhouse with its proximity to the motorway exits, the center of Florence and the other art cities of Tuscany, makes it strategic for those who want to fully enjoy all the opportunities that Tuscany offers
